Loathing

71...82 .... faster, faster, only 15 more minutes of this bike torture I thought to myself, to add wound to injure  the horrible commercials that the Republican party made to deface Obama were on the large screens that were straight in front of me, no escape! Ahh and boo to the lows that both parties dupe to void talking about the real issues. Wish we had a strong multi-party system in our country! Even the fishing game on the rower was not fun today probably due to the fact that my days are numbered til when Mr. Incredible leaves to be a warrior for our country for a longer stay then the weekend, so I ended up just rowing like there was no tomorrow also frustrated with the news highlighting the psycho mental state and a discussuion on  how to tell a psychic person that they need help before they go into a theater and open fire. Poor victims of the Aurora theater shooting! Serious have you ever told anybody they need to go to therapy because you are afraid they will kill a lot of people? I don't think it would pan over too well!  My muscles always ache with complaints! Exercise is a necessary evil that must be done.

Yesterday, we finally picked up our mail this weekend, a long awaited package from zulily. Mr. Incredible opened it to reveal a Lightning Mcqueen potty set with a toilet seat, stool and foldable toilet seat Peanut burst out in squeals of delight, Disney Cars is one of his favorite movies . He even was playing with them like regular cars (as per his usual routine of making everything into a car). This morning I told him to follow me, which he did caring the Cars stool. He was excited to follow me until I put his beloved lightning mcqueen seat on its intended use: the toilet he started to wail a mournful cry, like I was defiling his toy! Well the cars set motivated him to actually get on the toilet. Last night the fold-able mcqueen had a posh sleep right next to his biggest fan.

Cheesy Perfection

Have you ever had those moments where you thought were just so perfect that nothing else in that moment could make you happier? They are very few and far in between.  I have moments like that when Mr. Incredible and I are with the kids and they are asleep... hence why I have time to ponder and reflect on the awesome that is my life!

Yesterday I had one those afternoons when I went shopping in Denver Cherry Creek area at one of my favorite boutiques, Nest, got my chewbeads bracelet, ultra soft  pj's for Peanut and beautiful black shiny shoes for little C (that Mr. Incredible would claim are way too much money and I would have to tell him fashion hurts--and that shoes for her are 5 times cheaper than shoes for me).

Then realizing upon leaving Nest that- I was very close to the The Truffle Cheese Shop. I had to go! I heart little shops and cafes like this. Tres Jolies tea shop closed which I loved, the owners were awesome. I'm still mourning the loss and missing my tea (Avatar reference I know I'm a nerd).

Aww, the taste of Europe...-via  Portuguese goat cheese and Sicilian Olives. Perfection! Got Mr. Incredible some Spanish  Bleu Cheese(because I knew he was envious of my rendezvous to the cheese shop), some goat gouda, more olives and a baguette and headed home for a delightful lunch of cheese and bread. I didn't have to fly to Europe to feel like I was there! Most of the $1.70 worth of olives were devoured on the I-25.

dead nail

So as of the last couple of days, I'm excited about the new Opi nail polish collection coming in August: the Germany and the James Bond colors. Mainly I love their names like nein, nein! OK fine and Duestch you want me babe?. Hitting the 80's core fanfare. Oh yeah, I love my 80's rock!

Peanut was in dire need of his toe nail needing to be clipped off... it was getting overgrown. I started to clip it and more then half the whole toe nail fall off, no abnormal color of yellowish or purple indictating a bruise or hitting it on something. I went searching for answers on what disease he had(love google for that matter) --I came up with hand, foot, and mouth (even though he never had a fever, or the rashes just the unexplained dead toenail). Went to the doctor and she said it was the way he slept. Peanut sleeps with his butt up in the air and legs tucked underneath so his toes get the all the weight. His toenail bed probably broke by his pose. Who would  have thought! She informed us that his nail may grow in deformed. Guys can get away with having knarley toes nails. Look at the chiccos ads they display fungus ridden toenails in their adverstisements loud and proud!

News: Peanut is a ham

Peanut has gotten two splinters this week on his hand. Both times, I had to give him candy to not attack Mr. Incredible while he removes it from his other hand. Peanut will not let go of the candy, he is determined to eat it. It's quiet a sight to see, he is death grabbing the ice cream malt balls while trying to free his other hand of Daddy.

Also, on note with Peanut...he has warned Daddy to shave, By feeling his face face and saying " you need to shave! You're too hairy!" We sat there just laughing and laughing. Peanut is a ham!

He loves our across the grass neighbors newly put up play plastic slide area and has often declared loudly "outside" as he points joyfully running in place to the play area in the house. He enjoys smashing his face on the glass window and saying "hi" to our neighbors, along with going all-natural on the balony.

The winner is Britax b-agile

Went to stroller depot and we went to see if the britax b-agile was better then the city mini-double it was. With its easy use middle bar and infant insert for little C. It even fit in the corolla truck with the city mini single stroller with plenty of room to spare. Stroller Depot was amazing customer service and had amazon price on the stroller. When I need a double jogger stroller I will go to them. Now with britax two kids are easy to haul around.

Peanut all-natural

We got Peanut a sandpit in the shape of a stump. With the hot weather we did not get the sand yet. so we filled the stump with about an inch of water and let Peanut go out with his diaper on. Thirty seconds after that while eating I look up and he is all- natural waving and saying "hi" to the neighbors leisurely sitting on his chair. It was so funny!

Little C

"Breath in... breath out" he told me. The bright pink tulip garden with an Asian stone bridge picture covering the lights didn't comfort me... while strapped down in a T form to the table. A big man to my left of me whom I just met, stared at my exposed body like a auto mechanic viewing a car. Seriously unhumanizing! My body in 4 minutes would be split open and quickly my child would be introduced to the world. Nervously I breathed in wishing that I could itch my belly as they rubbed it clean. It was painfully not being able to itch-- at that point not knowing that the general anesthesia they were injecting into my veins has that effect on me.

Then I woke up screaming at my Dr "stop that" apparently I had a nightmare. He was as shocked as I was, it was embarrassing! Thankfully I was not swinging or kicking. I fell into a twilight sleep not noticing what was happening, then asked where's my baby...is little C healthy?  At a whooping 8.3 lbs, yes she was healthy. Little C is beautiful and sweet...and holding her in my arms was worth that pain! The recovery with 2 kids is interesting not being able to pick up one due to Peanut's weight of around 40 lbs and having only one hand fully functional with 2 kids always is interesting. If you don't know I have Cerebral Palsy. With Peanut liking to body slam and does not yet understand gentle touching with little C its making me crazy, because in reality how many times can you say "no" before sounding insane.

So I'm still in the market for a double stroller that is easy to fold with one hand and can fit in a Toyota corolla. I like my car at this point I have no need or desire to upgrade to a less Eco-friendly car when mine. I've found only two models so far city mini double stroller and the new britax b-agile double. I have to test out how easy the new britax buckle is to undo first before I make a discussion.
